Species Identification

The first step to eliminate macrofouling is to identify the species involved. We offer a specimen kit, including prepaid mailer, appropriate containers, and biological fixative. When you send us a specimen, we will respond with reliable identification, photo documentation, and species-specific information.

On-site Assessment

In many instances of biofouling there is no substitute for an on-site assessment. Our visit includes identification of all fouling species, water analysis, and a physical assessment of the site. A written follow-up report will provide all the customized information you need to successfully control of the problem.

Monitoring and Research

When it is appropriate we offer long-term consultation, research, and/or monitoring to resolve difficult fouling issues. A remote monitoring program using customized statoblast traps is a cost-effective way to gather detailed bryozoan information throughout the year.
